A small atelierfor private keys.
Coldhoard is a four-person workshop in Vilnius. We do one thing: we curate, photograph, and ship hardware wallets — and then we leave you alone. We do not hold keys, we do not custody coins, and we have no opinion on what you buy.
“A hardware wallet is a piece of jewelry that happens to hold a lifetime of savings. We thought it deserved to be sold like one.”
Most crypto storefronts treat a hardware wallet like a USB stick — blister-packed, shrink-wrapped, dispatched between a phone case and a microSD card. That is fine for a USB stick. It is unserious for the device that holds your retirement.
Our atelier was founded by two cryptographers and a graphic designer. We buy direct from Ledger, SatoshiLabs, and Tangem. Every unit is checked, weighed, photographed, and the photo's SHA-256 hash is printed on the packing slip. You can verify the seal before you cut it.
We will never ask for your seed. We will never offer to initialize a device. We will never resell your data. The only thing we want to know about you is the address the courier should leave the box at.
Three things we promise.
No custody.
We never touch a seed. We never generate one for you. The device is sealed when you receive it.
Direct sourcing.
Every device comes from the manufacturer or an authorised distributor. No marketplaces, no greys.
Plain receipts.
Order, weight, serial, and a SHA-256 of the photograph. Printed on paper. Stored on no server we can be subpoenaed for.
